Mike and his wife Emily are originally from Charleston, SC and they have a passion for leading others into a closer relationship with Jesus. Mike is dedicated to Gospel-centered discipleship and communication. In his spare time, he enjoys watching and playing sports and hanging out with his family and friends. Emily strives to live a life of hospitality that resembles the welcoming nature of Jesus. She loves being a mom, finding deals at Target and Goodwill, and finding new shows on Netflix. As a couple, they believe God has called them to help build His kingdom and make Him known, specifically in Lawrence, KS. They have two sons named Sammy and Wesley, and a daughter named Ruth.

Jake and his wife Danielle are from Charleston, SC and they both have a desire and heart for seeing people come into a relationship with Jesus. They love quality time with family, spending time at the lake, and seeing new places together. Jake served along with Danielle in ministry for nine years, before they felt the Holy Spirit calling them to be a part of a new dream and vision of planting a church. Through many years of God developing and instilling things in them individually and as a couple, God has led them to be a part of something bigger than themselves. They have a son named Hayden and a daughter named Mia, who are everything to them, and families that love and support their mission and calling.

Andrew and Mary Catherine Singer are passionate about serving and investing in the church. They have a daughter, Hannah Grace, and two dogs. Since graduating high school, Andrew has worked in nonprofit organizations in both the U.S. and Central America. At the start of their marriage, he and MC lived in Guatemala, where they served as missionaries. They moved to Lawrence in 2022 to be a part of the planting team for The Valley. Andrew serves as the Worship Director at The Valley, while MC is a member of the worship team. He also works at Ready for Good Co., a nonprofit in Lawrence that mentors youth involved in the foster care and juvenile justice systems, and MC is the Marketing Coordinator for a tech company. Together, Andrew and MC are dedicated to investing in the Lawrence community and living out their faith through service and ministry.
